Tae Kyun Kim, DEC
I can't pick Movlid after his last performance. He looked terrible against Kennedy and got lucky that the judges don't know how to score 10-8s or else it would have been a draw. Kennedy is a solid fighter but he rocked Movlid on the feet multiple times and the wrestling was almost even. Kim looked like an animal in his last fight, so unless Movlid looks much better than last time out I have zero confidence for him to beat Kim.
Kennedy vs. Borics
Ádám Borics, DEC
These two deserve the chance to be the alternate. Kennedy almost beat Movlid but fought dumb and let him off the hook, and Borics is a great fighter who got Mudo'd by Pinedo. I still think Borics is the better fighter overall and don't trust Kennedy to fight smart, so a repeat of their last matchup is expected even though it was years ago.

Asaël Adjoudj, DEC
Landu is a really solid vet bht his time is coming to an end here. He is a point fighter and has been getting by on very thin margins against low level comp. Adjoudj on the other hand is very impressive to me. He is big for the divison and has shown he has skills in all facets of mma. He’s been beating good competition as well and only seems to be getting better each fight. I could even see a finish here but I doubt it since Landu is durable
Umalatov vs. Ivy
Magomed Umalatov, TKO, R1
Ivy’s improved a lot since his ufc run but I think he’s bit off more than he can chew here. I don’t even think umaaltov is that good (I actually think he’s extremely overrated) but he is gonna be way too fast early on and is better everywhere the fight goes. Probably a round 1 ko since he comes out very aggressive, but I could see a takedown into a submission too. He should finish this however he wants

Jason Jackson, SUB, R3
Shame these two have to meet in semis. I like Jean a lot but this is a very tough ask in your 10th pro fight. Jean is like a better version of Danny Barlow to me; a physical freak with all the tools to be successful, he just doesn’t know how to tie them together yet. Unlike Barlow, Jean is very aggressive and uses his athelticism well. He hits like a truck and is not afraid to get into ugly fights. He is explosive and super atheltic, he also has one punch ko power and a huge reach for the divison. His grappling is still kind of suspect but he can use his frame and athleticism to bail himself out a little bit. However, I think he is too unrefined to beat Jackson. Jackson is honestly so underrated, his only real loss in the past decade is to kuramagomedov, and he only lost that one because he refused to shoot tds until Ramazan gassed in r3. Even though he likes to strike now, he’s still very good at it; he too has a big reach for the divison and has the Henri Hooft style of K.I.S.S. He has a sharp jab and very good leg kicks that he constantly throws. What makes Jackson’s so good tho is his wrestling; it’s honestly elite. He can wrestle his ass off and has very good top control. He will just grind you out with it and has cardio for days. I think the physicality of Jean will give him issues, but once he gets the fight down that shoukd be the round. If he tries to strike this will get scary, I think Jean could def ko him. That being said, jean is a little wild and also hasn’t faced much adversity on the feet before; I think Jackson’s output and leg kicks will pose a threat. I could defintely see Jean getting an upset, but it would need to be a finish; Jackson is way too tricky to outpoint unless he is unable to get takedowns. Jean does seems special but I just think this is way too tough of a task for where he’s at rn
Pinedo vs. Braga III
Jesus Pinedo, TKO, R2
I keep trying to fade Pinedo but this mf just seems to have plot armor. He’s the size of a LW, roided to the gills, and hits like a truck. I think Braga is a very good fighter but Pinedo seems like a horrible style for him. Braga is a point fighter with little power, and he needs to be the one controlling the pace to win. Pinedo stays in his face the entire time and never strops throwing heat. Braga barely won the first fight (most thought he lost) and Pinedo steamrolled him in the rematch. I think he could make it interesting with his grappling but he is going to have to go through hell on the feet to get a win here.
Storley vs. Kikuiri
Logan Storley, TKO, R2
Idk why Storely gets the free pass here. Kikuri is awful and Storely is a horrible style for him. Kikuri is a striker, a pretty low level one at that. He has some good power but his fight iq and output is awful; they gave him the worst guy possible and he was still somehow having output issues. He looked bad in that fight and his opponent just straight up quit in the corner. Storely is gonna take him down and do his usual lay n pray. I think he will get a finish tho. TDS will be free here and he will face no resistance on the ground; should be a late stoppage because he’s gonna have 4+ minutes of control every round
Khaybulaev vs. Kim
Tae Kyun Kim, TKO, R2
I know I’m giving up a pick here but I am biased towards Kim. Despite that, I do genuinely think he has a shot here; last fight showed Movlid has absolutely lost a step in his game. He’s still a very high level fighter, and it’s entirely possible he perfomaed that way due to ring rust, but he is at the tail end of his career. He is almost 35 and actually came out of retirement last time out (he had previously stepped away due to eye issues). His wrestling is still very high level and he has good striking when he lets his hands go, but his takedowns were looking awful in the Kennedy fight until he was able to knock him down. Kim doesn’t have the best tdd but he has very high level bjj, and uses it well to force scrambles and get back to his feet. Honestly with how Movlid’s wrestling looked last time out, I would not be shocked if Kim gives him some issues there. I think he can defintely catch him off guard with his scrambling and be able tj get to his feet. In the striking I think his boxing could cause issues as well. Movlid seems kind of chinny and Kim has underrated striking. He puts a pace on you, I like to refer to him as Korean Nick Diaz; he has solid boxing and gets in your face throwing absolute hell at you the entire fight. I’m expecting this to be a levels fight where Movlid wins with his wrestling, but I honestly think Kim has a good shot here. He is scrappy as ****, won’t back down from a brawl, forces a dogfight out of you, has skills everywhere, and is a huge FW
Kennedy vs. Borics
Ádám Borics, TKO, R1
Icl I forgot these two fought before. Borics got wrecked last time out but it was a quick ko; I thought he looked fine until he got caught. No shame in that since Pinedo somehow is a world beater now. Kennedy is a good fighter but he is held back by having a glass jaw. He spends most of his fights just cage pushing but he has decent striking when he goes for it. I think this is a tough ask given his current position though. He’s on three brutal losses and not getting a break. I’ve always really liked Borics style, as long as he doesn’t go for low iq moves and get taken down, I think he will comfortably outstrike Kennedy. I actually think he will get a finish this time; Kennedy has a poor chin and has only taken more damage since then
Luciano vs. Shields
Sarek Shields, DEC
I think the pick % and odds are kind off of here since both are grapplers who desperately need takedowns to work their games. Sheilds is honestly pretty good at what he does, he just has a glass jaw. Luciano has no striking so that shouldn’t be a worry here though. Sheilds is like a leech on the ground, which will be interesting because Luciano folds when he can’t get takedowns. Even in his win against hill he was comfortably losing until hill gassed and just gave up. If sheilds isn’t getting chinned, I honestly think he could upset here. I’m shocked the odds are as wide as they are; Luciano doesn’t have a large striking advantage or a great gas tank either. He’s struggled in the past when he can’t get takedowns as well
Berkhamov vs. St. Louis
Mukhamed Berkhamov, DEC
Need to look into this one more. I think berkhamov is a massive fraud. He is chinny, can’t strike, and needs the takedown desperatly or else he is lost. His record is very padded and he folds under the first sign of adversity. I think he’s should be able to wrestle his way to a win but honestly his wrestling ability is way overrated. St. Louis is a decent vet and skilled everywhere. Need to watch his tape further but he could be a sneaky underdog pre tape
Pergande vs. Bardsley
Alexei Pergande, DEC
Honestly very unimpressed with Pergande but he should take this one. Pfl keeps trying to build him up but I haven’t been impressed with his fights
Danner vs. Gilmore
Jason Danner, TKO, R1

Jason Jackson, DEC
Jean looks really dangerous, I'm on board his hype train now. But I still think Jackson is too good. He is a top 3 WW in the world in my opinion, and when he shows up he is well-rounded and dangerous everywhere. As long as he doesn't catch a power shot on the chin I think Jackson will take this.

Logan Storley, TKO, R3
I'm a Storley fan. He needs to turn up the urgency to get finishes, but he's not as boring as he gets the blame for. He prioritizes position over finish, which is a winning strategy, but when he fights guys who are good off their back it can be back and forth passing and reclaiming gaurd. I haven't seen Kikuiri on his back, but Storley is able to take down pretty much everyone he fights and I'm picking a late ground and pound finish.

if storley can't dominate, kikuiri knocks him out in a round or two, ends itd either way.
sarek decisions him, lots of grappling and sub attempts from both sides, I'll take the dog shot on this.
berkhamov boring decision with him avoiding striking exchanges.
torrez finney decision, he might get signed this time.

Mukhamed Berkhamov, SUB, R1
KSL is a solid athletic grinder with decent top control but his defensive gaps and struggles against better athletes are red flags. Berkhamov’s experience edge and killer submission game makes this a stylistic nightmare for Kendly. Berkhamov has dominated strong wrestlers in ACA and has improved in PFL. If he times a level change early, expect a fast scramble into a choke of some kind. Unless Kendly lands something huge early, this likely ends on the mat.
Adjoudj vs. Landu
Yves Landu, DEC
Adjouj is a sharp striker with flashy kicks but he's still prone to being outgrappled and controlled for long stretches especially when he can't dictate range and he often ends rounds in bad spots. Landu is a stylistic nightmare for him and he could easily exploit these holes. He’s consistently pressured longer opponent and shown great balance between aggression and control, especially against dangerous strikers like Bilharinho. Adjouj’s athletic edge and jab volume will keep it close early but Landu’s pressure scrambles and top control likely swing the later rounds.
Umalatov vs. Ivy
Magomed Umalatov, TKO, R1
Umalatov looked like a slick PFL find early on, clean striker, great defensive wrestling, and good timing but he’s shown a worrying inability to finish durable opponents. He tends to gas when his early blitzes don’t work and his volume plummets. That said, Ivy’s recent run has been strong but his chin is still suspect. Against elite pace and power early he’s been stopped before and Umalatov has the timing to catch him cold. Ivy’s not a terrible value given Umalatov's cardio dip and finishing issues but this feels like a bounceback KO spot for Magomed especially if Ivy opens aggressive again.

Danner, KO, R2
danner is an interesting character. there's very little tape on him. in the tape that's out there, he's mostly smashing jobbers, showboating, talking smack and trying to humiliate his opponents. i mean he's literally spanking a 2-19 jobber in the middle of a fight while beating the piss out of him. if you check his amateur record he's taken a 1 year suspension for bad conduct before, and i don't think much has changed going into his pro career. as of right now i'm going with a round 2 KO for danner. this guy seems unhinged and sadistic so he's a good fit for mma.

Khaybulaev, DEC
super tough fight to call. this fight could easily be very close and greasy. i think the outcome depends on how much time kim is willing to spend playing bjj off his back. kim is such a fun fighter and i would love to see him fight jesus pinedo in the tournament final. but both times kim fought russian wrestlers he spent an eternity on his back. he did manage to KO kadimagomaev after kadi death gassed. but kim also struggled with bogatov's takedowns. i think the russian wrestling style is probably kim's toughest style matchup to deal with. but he has beaten this style before.
i still have to go with khaybulaev assuming his last performance was a fluke due to ring rust. i'm not sure it's possible to look any worse than he did last time going life and death with jeremy kennedy. i expect khaybulaev to have shaken off the ring rust and win 2 rounds with wrestling.
if kim wins i'm totally cool with that because we will get a crazy fun striking match with kim vs. pinedo in the final.
