2025 Prospect Grand Prix Sign-ups

We're back!
This season I'm adjusting the ruleset getting a little more strict but adding more to the excitement.For anyone interested just reply to this thread saying "I'm in" and please include your Twitter handle. If you don't have a Twitter consider making one since I will have a group chat there. Sign-ups are closed December 28th at 6:00 PM Est. Then I will randomize the draft order. The draft will start December 29th at 12:00 PM EST.

Gameplay rules

• The goal is to have the highest score at the end of the year.
• To get there the goal is to draft prospects you think will sign to the UFC or earn points by winning fights.
• Once your prospect signs with the you will make a replacement. You will have one week from the day their signing is announced to make that replacement. If not you will be down a fighter.
• When you have a fighter that signs to the UFC you will keep that fighter throughout the year and earn/lose points as they fight
• We will be doing a re-draft at the beginning of each month. Each person will be allowed to drop a prospect and replace it with another one.
• I will allow trades but both competitors must confirm with me before it's official
• You will receive the full 25 points if your prospect gets signed to the UFC/Bellator during the draft.
• If you ever reach -75pts you will be eliminated
• Each season we get players that do the draft and disappear or play the first couple of months and no more. To avoid that, every two months I'll put up a check-in thread. Everyone that's still wanting to play has to make a comment that they are still playing. Whoever doesn't comment in a whole week will be removed.

Scoring rules

• Prospect wins a fight= 10pts
• Prospect loses a fight -10pts
• Exhibition wins (TUF)= 10pts
• Amateur wins= 5pts
• Beat another competitor's prospect= 20pts
• Lose to another competitor's prospect= -20pts
• Wins/defends regional title= 15pts
• Wins the ultimate fighter= 30pts
• Wins PFL tournament= 50pts
• Signs with Bellator= 15pts
• Sign with the UFC= 25pts
• Wins UFC fight= 25pts
• Loses UFC fight= -50pts 

Drafting rules

• The draft will be a snake-style
• Each competitor will draft six prospects.
• The last pick for each player has to draft a prospect with three pro fights or less.
• You can't draft anyone with three pro fights or less until the last round. 
• You will have a four-hour deadline to draft. If you miss that you have to wait for your next go around and pick two fighters. You would only have an hour to make your pick on the second try. If you miss the deadline twice in a row you will be eliminated.
• For rounds 4-6 you will have a two-hour deadline to make your pick
• No former or current UFC fighters.
• No current fighters from ONE, PFL/Bellator, or KSW unless it's confirmed the fighter is a free agent.
• To avoid stacking points you can't draft anyone that has a confirmed/upcoming fight on TUF, Road to UFC, and the Contender Series.
• You can't draft anyone over the age of 32
• You cant draft anyone with more than 25 pro fights

Re-draft rules

• Every rule from the original draft applies here as well.
• Each player is issued only four swaps each. It avoids stacking points and makes it more strategic.
• Once you drop a fighter you can't pick him/her back up.
• You can only swap out one fighter at a time. 
• You can only swap out your last-round pick with another fighter that has three pro fights or less.
• The draft order is s determined by who has the lowest score to the highest. The tied scores will be randomized. 
• You only have thirty minutes to make a swap.
