Ibragim Todashev, a resident of Orlando Florida, had competed professionally once in Mixed Martial Arts in 2012. Todashev was shot and killed by the FBI on May 21st, 2013 after being questioned and becoming allegedly uncooperative and violent as part of the investigation of the Boston Marathon bombings and his relationship to those involved with the terror incident. The circumstances of Todashev's death remained unclear in the aftermath of the incident. Conflicting reports emerged from law enforcement officials regarding whether or not Todashev had a weapon - either a knife or sword - in his possession, and what led the individuals involved to use lethal force.
